I grew up here in Montucky, and by most counts, I’m an outdoorsman. This is the first time I ever saw coyotes in a group like this. BTW; It’s pronounced KI-YOAT, and rhymes with MOAT. That other thing is a Warner Brothers Cartoon

South Cottonwood in Winter


This hike has good variety and few bridges that act as milestones. You can go quite a ways into the mountains from here, and it’s just south of Bozeman, in the Gallatin Valley. It’s a favorite among locals and it seems there’s been a sighting or two of purple squirrels.
