Curated from Buck Dodds archives.

Steven David Powell of Great Falls, Montana assumed the pseudonym, Buck Dodds, as an internet avatar in 2026. Any signed work, film credits, published work, or patent and design awards attributed to Powell with a stylized bison head in the signature, SD, Steven D., Coyotemon, or S David; are genuinely works of Buck Dodds, and are “Signature” period work.

Having chosen “Buck Dodds” for its unique internet qualities, Powell kept the moniker because he’s bucked a lot of odds. “Buck Dodds” reflects Powell’s Montana roots, literary voice, and the unique personality of a polymath artist born in the heart of the “West” who’s genre is decidedly “anti-cowboy.”

Candied Rat 2012. The goal was a hard-candy sculpture of a rat. The result was the rapid deterioration of a body filled with sugar.

Gurney 2013. This sculpture, made of foam core, cannot stand up on its own legs without collapsing, like for-profit healing as a business model.

As I researched my food and discovered it was being genetically modified to grow in glyphosated soil. I discovered our bodies were essentially processing glyphosate (brand name Roundup) and our “leaky” guts were pooping it out. (citation to come). GMOh-shit!
